drawn on Wacom tablet in Corel Painter X

I used felt pens and chalk and drew from a picture by Elaine Szelestey( since I couldn't get anyone to pose nude for me) in a great book by Nita Leland called "The New Creative Artist".

Digital painted orchid

This is my first digital painting. I used the tutorial I found at Corel Painter. It was really a lotof fun. I drew the orchid on my Wacom bamboo tablet then practiced using the digital brushes to complete the painting. I really liked how the colors turned out and the texture I was able to acheive using the digital brushes.

My first digital photo painting

I bought my self a Wacom Bamboo fun pad and pen for Christmas and it came with Photoshop Elements 6 and Corel Painter Essentials 3. I made my first photo painting with the Corel Painter today from a photo I took a couple of summers ago. So here it is my first attempt. I'm still trying to get used to using the pen.

This is pretty loose. I was aiming for watercolor but didn't have the transparency set right so it looks more like oils. This is really fun to play with. I have SOOO much to learn.

Sundays PSE creation

"Darkness" Reading my PSE 4 manual and trying different things today. Iused a painting I did for the background and changed the colors. Used brushes I downloaded and vintage image.
